Bacula Release 9.6.6

We are pleased to announce the release of Bacula version 9.6.6 to both the Bacula website (www.bacula.org) and to SourceForge.

This is a minor bug fix release. Unless there is some new major bug found,this will be the last of the 9.6.x releases. The next release major release (a really big one) is currently scheduled for December. More about this in a subsequent status report …

Kern Sibbald

Kern Sibbald designed and wrote most of the Bacula software; he manages Bacula open source project. Kern is a founder of Autodesk where he was development manager for AutoCAD, a highly successful CAD program. He established and was the Technical Director of Autodesk’s European software development center in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Kern holds a bachelors degree in physics from the University of California and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Maryland.
